This page explains how to delete your Reed Rides account and the data tied to it. Reed Rides is published by Camps Bay Labs, LLC.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open Reed Rides and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account (under Sign Out).
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Permanently Delete My Account.
Your account is deleted right away. If you own a crew that still has other members, it's handed to a co-leader, or to the member who's been in it longest, so the crew keeps going.
Ask us to delete it (no app needed)
If you've uninstalled the app or can't sign in, email reed@reedrides.com with the subject Delete my Reed Rides account. Send it from the email address you use to sign in, or include that address and your username. We'll reply to confirm the request came from you, then delete the account and let you know when it's done, within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account, sign-in details, profile (username, display name, avatar) and birthday
- Ride and park check-ins, past trips, seats, seat tags and "Who sat next to you?" tags
- Line timer sessions, scare guesses and ratings
- Photos you added, and your milestone certificate records
- Badges, stamps, settings, preferred parks and trivia preferences
- Your crew memberships, crew invites you sent (including the phone numbers you entered) and crew lists or trip boards you created
- Push notification tokens, Ask Reed usage records and feature requests you sent
- Riders you blocked
What we keep
Crews you belonged to keep running for their other members, without you in them. Anonymous totals (like seat heatmaps) are recalculated without your data. Reports you sent about other riders or crews are kept, without your account attached, so we can still act on them. Copies in our providers' routine backups expire on their normal schedule.
A few things aren't removed automatically yet, and we delete them when you ask: milestone certificate image files, feature-request emails in our team inbox, and your address on the launch email list. Mention them in your email, or write to us after deleting in the app.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
