Reed Rides Terms & Conditions

Last updated September 11, 2026

Where this stands right now Reed Rides is pre-launch and this page has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It covers the basics of using the app and, in detail, our SMS text messaging program. Treat it as an honest plain-language starting point, not a finished legal document.

Using Reed Rides

Reed Rides is a companion app for tracking the rides you've been on, earning badges and stamps, and coordinating with a Crew of people you ride with. By creating an account, you agree to use the app honestly, keep your account credentials to yourself, and not misuse features like Crew invitations or check-ins (for example, sending invitations to people who haven't asked for one, or falsifying ride check-ins). We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the app or its messaging features.

The app is provided as-is while we're building it out. Features, badges, and ride data may change as we improve accuracy and add parks.

SMS / text messaging program: Reed Rides Crew Invites

Reed Rides crew leaders and managers can invite people they know to join their Crew by entering that person's mobile number in the app. Doing so sends the recipient a one-time text message with a link to accept the invitation, and may send a single follow-up reminder if the invitation hasn't been accepted. This program is transactional, not marketing: messages are only sent when an existing Reed Rides user chooses to invite a specific person by name and number.

Privacy

Phone numbers and message activity collected through this program are handled according to our Privacy Policy. We don't sell your phone number or use it for advertising, and we don't share it outside the service providers (like our messaging provider) needed to deliver these texts.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
